But... is he ok?

The more Derrick Lewis says that Curtis Blaydes is ok the more he is cappin'. Blaydes is NOT OK... this man has been publicly shamed ever since feeling that uppercut. Lewis landed one of the most brutal uppercut knockouts we have ever seen and left a crime scene at UFC Vegas 19.

No man is eating that uppercut after going for a takedown, no one. I actually had Blaydes up on the score cards. Derrick Lewis looked slow and not at his best shape as he even mentioned immediately after the fight. Blaydes out landed him tremendously and at a higher clip but couldn't get things to the ground like his game plan. The fight had some strange moments as both fighters got frustrated with each other throwing open hands (mostly Blaydes's strikes). A eye poke and a few stoppages drove Lewis to complete anger and had Herb Dern looking for some Dana Personal Protection. Lewis had the adrenaline he needed, the rest is history. Two things are set in stone... Derrick Lewis is the UFC Knockout King (tied with Vitor Belfort-12) and Derrick Lewis has NO regard for human life. The disrespect he showed Blaydes is f'n hall of fame worthy.

His epic drop plus a throat slit and 3 DX Chops... Blaydes might have to retire. But the disrespect didn't stop there. Nope. Lewis has buried Blaydes across Twitter/IG & the bro already has "He's Ok" merchandise out. The man is a national treasure.

Lewis loves his wrestlers & most importantly... loves to knock people out for all of our entertainment. A great way to wrap up February in the Octagon as the UFC gets ready for a hot and epic March.
