Dak Prescott gets his payday... the largest NFL contract at signing in NFL history. Dak's agent is the king of kings of sports agents. I mean wow. When you actually look at the advanced details of the contract, especially the numbers at signing; you will be left baffled. Dak's deal is too sweet and is twice as nice as Patrick Mahomes' deal. I didn't expect Dak to get paid what he wanted after his ankle injury that finished his season. I thought he had for sure been screwed. Glad he didn't and that he got paid despite my opinions based off the gridiron.
Dak's contract made history in many ways. Check out the main points:
Racks on racks and no tag or trade, over just 4 years. Man oh man. Mahomes might be bringing in $5 million more a year than Dak, but Dak's contract is way better. Mahomes' contract runs through 2031. When Dak’s deal expires (2025), Mahomes will be under contract for seven more years. By then, the market will have changed. By then, Mahomes will be underpaid. Dak will be getting paid again. The other kicker is the no tag and no trade. When the deal is expired he doesn't have to worry about them placing the franchise tag on him or won't have a situation like with Wentz and the Bears/Eagles if he refuses to play some where.

Like what in the hell! Almost $29M more than the second place... what! Mahomes is bamboozled lookin' at this. What a absolutely incredible job by Dak's agent. Dak better have this dude set for life and then some, I mean wow. But did the Cowboys completely sh** the bed once again or will Dak live up to the $160 M's? We will see, that's a lot of money for one playoff win.
