Jettas Only Flies High

Superstar wideout Justin Jefferson continues to scorch the gridiron, swoopin' in from the skies with an electric blitzkrieg force, overwhelming defensive-backs night in & night out while breakin' records within each quest. JJ is making it known that when he is on offense- the field is his domain.

Minnesota may be 0-2 after a 28-34 defeat from the talons of the Eagles, last night- but the stardom of WR Justin Jefferson continues to keep light ashine for the Vikings' faithful. The cat is a straight freak at wideout, and REFUSES to slow down as the calendar years flip. Jettas now has his best first 2-game start of his career being the first wide receiver since Steve Smith Sr. (2011) to eclipse 150 yards receiving in the first two games in a season. Jefferson began 2022 off with a 184 yard game before gettin' stumped by Darius Slay and co. in last years' week 2 matchup with Philly. JJ was not going to let that happen again.

For some fans, watching Jefferson is like watching Randy Moss all over again. A comparison that has nothing to do with traits; skill-set; and talent, more so a comparison of statistical records being mirrored by one another in similar record time. Randy Moss is already seeing some of his records begin to patch over, inserting Justin Jefferson's name in the stone.

Jettas now joins Moss as the only players in NFL history with 5,000 career receiving yards prior to turning age 25. Jefferson reached the 5K mark faster than Moss, doing so in only 52 games which ties him with Hall of Famer Lance Alworth for the fewest games needed in NFL history. On top of that, Jefferson's performance last night marked his 5th career game with 10+ receptions and 150 receiving yards, which is the most by a player before turning 25 in NFL history.

Jefferson seems ready to punch his ticket to another special campaign on the gridiron. After week one, everyone raved about Tyreek Hill and the chances of him reaching 2K receiving. Rightfully so. However, I think we need the same hype towards Jettas, who in my opinion has the more realistic chance of being a MR. 2K in the air.

Jefferson's 2022 AP Offensive Player of the Year award was guided by his 1,809 yards receiving- which is 6th all-time in a single season. We see he has no slowing down, at this rate, considering no injuries, Jettas 2K window is completely open. Every yardage statistic has been improved each year for Jefferson: receptions; yards; yards per reception; yards/game, catch percentage; and targets, all have been improved. I think Jettas has a STRONG chance to be the first 2K receiver this year breaking Calvin Johnson's all-time receiving in a season record (1,964). Hopefully he stays healthy and Cousins as well.

This dude Jefferson knows that he will bank in on more incentives and might have an opportunity to get a custom 2K chain like CJ2K. So much that his gameday chain had no value:

Actions of a man that knows he is money. If anyone questions his value: in his 52 games played in the NFL, Jettas has more career receiving yards than ANY Bears player had in their entire franchise history. The Bears are one of the two OG's that started in the NFL in 1920. Such a crazy stat. This is Justin Jefferson on the Vikings:

It's to early to say the Vikings are in a hole they can't get out of, but as of now the only exciting thing comin' out of Minny is the play at receiver. Rookie Jordan Addison has been superb in his first two games across Jefferson. Vikings' fans could have a new duo that brings Carter/Moss vibes. Definitely something to look forward to.

All eyes are on the man that controls the skies. Jettas could be in for a special-special season. The NFL havin' a special talent to record watch is always fun. The last figure on the outside was Megatron. People tuned into rotten Lions' games just to watch what 81 could do in the skies. Justin Jefferson now plays that beat. Get him the ball and let 'em rock wit it!
