Supa Curry

Stephen Curry continues his destruction of the NBA record books and every spectator's jaw as he erupts on Philly and gives me some sweet irony. I already penciled in a Curry post, as he continues his crazy 11-game run, but I decided to do it after the Philly game; so I can reflect after a epic matchup between Steph, his little bro & big daddy Joel.

What a game it was... preferably for the legend that is Steph Curry. Unfortunately for me & my fellow Philly gang, the legend decided to continue his flame to the tune of ten 3's & 49 points to led his Warriors over the 76ers. How in the hell is Curry doing this still, and how in the hell is he doing it with THAT Warriors team (no offense fellas). Steph once again sparked the NBA universe while breaking records and splashin' all ova his little bro in a fantastic duel. Steph even surpassed the Mamba: Old Man Power.

Curry became the first player in NBA history age 33 or older with 11 straight 30+ point games, surpassing Kobe Bryant. Curry racked up his 5th 40-point game in April, surpassing Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan for most 40-pt games in a month by a player age-33 or older.

Curry is on a run for the ages, especially in his past 11 games and all of April.

This coming graphic here, shows you the fiery hot run Curry is on in his last five games:

Curry is playing the best ball of his career, including his unanimous MVP year. The Gunslinger doesn't have his fellow splash brother, and besides Dray-Dray; is on one of his worst teams of his career and being double teamed every time up the court. Despite all that, he now retakes the position for the top scorer & is playing more efficient and as elite than ever before, it's just unfair. Stephen Curry continues to break records and leave every crowd in awe. There is no excuse for doubting his greatness and importance to the sport and league.

I'll leave this last paragraph with a mic-drop to stir some debate; Steph Curry is a top-5 influential superstar in the entire history of the Big-4 sports in America... yup, I said it and now we can debate it. Curry has changed the entire landscape, speed, excitement & way of the game for basketball. More so than even LeBron James... now that's not me saying Curry is better than LeBron; but more influential to the sport? Sure is. Curry makes blowouts exciting and creates those blowouts with jaw-breaking shots, isos & handling. From the splashin' to the dancin', Steph Curry is one of the greatest superstars know to sports in all of history.

If Stephen Curry marches the Warriors to the playoffs and the league is still doing the new announcing of the MVP after regular seasons end; than he is a VERY strong choice over the outstanding seasons of Embiid and Jokic. The man is unstoppable and is helping lead a lack-luster team from NBA worst to a playoff berth while the top pick they had hasn't been all that. Curry is playing in a whole other stratosphere, and has only gotten better the later the season goes. Flame-throwing through the record books and double-teams- Curry is proving not only that he is the greatest shooter in history; but also player. Steph has once again drawn all the eyes on him, and with the spotlight bright; he has a chance to break even more records and history. I am strapped in & ready to watch the ride because as always; Steph is must watch TV. Here are some of his highlights on my beloved 76ers from Monday night:
