Only one word usually describes a Valentina Shevchenko fight; domination. On Saturday we saw the same ole beat. The Bullet continued her dominant reign over the women's Flyweight division and remains one of the most DOMINANT fighters on the planet, Valentina is a specimen to watch as she continues to thrill in dominating and entertaining fashion.
Many people said Andrade would finally be a challenge for the champ, but once again those people were left quiet as they watched The Bullet dominate per usual. Shevchenko dominated Andrade with her wrestling and then finished in violent fashion with elbows on the ground. Her patent arm wrap and gnp is the most f'n awesome technique in all of MMA. The champ has successfully defended her title five times. To the peeps who said Valentina "struggled" against Maia on the ground and said that would get her upset against Andrade are looking like some damn fools. It's apparent that there is no woman on the planet (not named Amanda Nunes) that can beat the champ Shevchenko.
Valentina is so spectacular at the art of MMA. Her technique, knowledge, & improvement has put her in a stratosphere of very few fighters on the planet. She is elite in every aspect and category of mixed martial arts. The Bullet's domination of Andrade is just one example of Valentina's greatness. The way she wraps her body around her opponent's arms and high torso to set up an unstoppable barrage of strikes, rather it's elbows or punches is absolutely astonishing and allows her opponent zero chance at defending herself. It's marvelous and the queen once again brought it out of her bag to defeat Andrade.
I don't think there is a Flyweight on the planet that can beat the queen... I think her ever seeing any comp' besides Nunes is a debate. There just isn't any fighters near those two's level. They are unbeatable. Valentina is a damn assassin. She is a hitwoman. They might as well have the third installment of Nunes/Shevchenko after Amanda kills Pena on live TV. They are the only matchup for each other that will be fair to watch. But I won't sit here and say I hate the fact that these two woman are takin' names and takin' bodies... it's great TV. Bow down to the queen... bow down to Bullet Valentina.
