antonio gibson -- RB -- Washington (r)
Antonio Gibson does not get the love he deserves. Mostly in part because he plays in Washington in the highly criticized NFC East. After stuffin' the Cowboys with a Turkey Day beat down, I sure hope that changes. He is obviously still developing as a player and runner, but what he has shown through his first 11 career games has been impeccable. Gibson was primarily a wideout at Memphis. You would not know that by his vision and patience in the back field. Gibson has a high level of explosiveness. He has improved every week at finding gaps, allowing his blockers to create openings & then attacking through them. His performance on Thursday showed how good he has gotten at those skills, straight up galloping the Cowboys. Giving them a spankin' and a little wave --

My guy had himself a game on Thursday. Gibson became the only rookie since 1948 with 3 rushing touchdowns on Thanksgiving. Last position player to do it was Randy Moss in his iconic showing, also against Dallas. He also became the first rookie in Washington history to score a toudy in 5 straight games.
With his 11 rushing touchdowns (currently 2nd in the league) he now becomes the 24th rookie to score more than 11 or more in a season. He only needs three more to surpass Alfred Morris ('12) for the most by a rook in Washington history.
As each week progress, Gibson is getting extremely comfortable in his position, and his production is proving he can be a pivotal point to the Washington 'chise and any success in the future. Plus the dude has a kick ass mentality. When asked about his performances in big games (Thursday was his first National televised game in NFL), he said "It's the story of my life, every time the spotlight comes on, it seems like God is watching down on me". Stop sleepin' on this man!
Kyler Murray - QB - Arizona
Has anyone actually checked on Murray's stats! Of the guys on my list he does get the most talk. But here is the thing, its not enough. I have him as my third vote for MVP, outside of Russ (1) & Mahomes (2). He has been a total difference maker as a dual-threat. His rushing stats are far greater then last year in every category. In only 10 games he has doubled his rushing touchdown mark and already surpassed more rushing yards with 619 (12th in the league). He just needs 5 more rushing touchdowns to surpass Cam Newton (14 in '11) for most by a signal caller in history.
I assume you all have seen the impeccable "Hail Murray" the other week- but you beat your a** I am going to drop the clip because Murray is not getting the love he is owed on that throw.

Mark my words, you cannot make a better throw. Man oh man, what a strike. On the run like that, f'n wild. Off the top of my head I can put that in a top 3 throw I have seen. Favre to Lewis (Minnesota), Rodgers to Janis (Green Bay) and then the "Hail Murray" masterpiece. Just incredible throw.
Murray is tied with Mahomes for the third most all-purpose toudys this season. Only Rodgers and Wilson have more. The best stat? He is 12th in rushing while leading ALL runners with a 6.7 yard average. Just .2 less then Lamar Jackson's incredible 6.9 to finish the '19 season which was the greatest rushing season ever by a Quarterback. He has done it on 92 carries as well (32nd in league).
Murray will be tested the most in his career in the next coming weeks as he tries to lead Arizona back into the Playoffs. He still has to play the Rams twice (who lead the division). Arizona is 2-1 in the division. Splitting the series against Seattle (2nd in division). The two matchups between Arizona and LA will be huge stakes. So stop sleepin' on K1.
terry mclaurin - wr - washington
Scary Terry has been just that for defenders... scaaaary. This dude is a star in the making. A very shiny one. He showed electric speed and a heart of a lion during that Thanksgiving a** kickin' Washington handed Dallas. He probably won't get the love of social's favorite beast D.K. but he deserves the same load, check it:
video via NFL The Checkdown//twitter
McLaurin leads the league in receiving with 963 yards (note-most the other stat leaders play Sunday), tied for 6th in receptions (69) & is 2nd in the league in YAC with 447 yards. Here is the thing, this man is putting up those numbers with Cam Sims & Dontrelle Inman as #2 and #3 receivers. Like, what? He has had three different quarterbacks this season. Oh, and Logan Thomas and Jeremy Sprinkle are the Tight Ends. That's just crazy. Scary Terry is a superstar in the shadows. He is the only man on a defensive game plan and they still go after him. Averaging more then 7 targets in almost every game. He still puts those #'s up. Crazy, stop sleepin'!
Brandon Graham - DE - Philadelphia
Let me start of with this, Graham is one of the most underrated defenders in league history yet alone of the '20 season mid-point. You read that right- of all time! I welcome ALL smoke.
Any viewer in Pennsylvania that get the Eagles game, teammates & opponents on the field with BG would agree with me. Foles and "Philly Special" get the creds for the 'Bowl, but if it wasn't for his "GOAT" coffin hammer, strip-sack on Brady they may have not been the champs. He is the nucleus in Philly and has been since his emergence in the league.
This season has proved no different. He is playing in a Reggie White type tier right now, damn near each snap for the Eagles. He is tied for 9th in the NFL with 7 sacks, is 4th in tackles for loss (13), 8th in pass' rush win rate (29%), & 1st in highest run stop win rate (34%) amongst DE per ESPN metrics and NFL Next Gen Stats. Straight dominance.

It is criminal how underrated BG is this season. It's bloody murder though, with how underrated he is in his career. I won't banter just yet on that. Tune into "Philly Talk w/DJ" coming soon to the Pod', I'm sure it will be discussed.
BG has set the stones in place to have a career year at 32. Most importantly, his depleted team; fighting late for a playoff opportunity will be looking to its nucleus when they desperately need to.
T.J. watt - olb - pittsburgh
T.J. is a absolute unit, a force. Made of straight up raw power, quickness & football IQ to give the most elite offense lineman and signal callers a scary nightmare. As I mentioned with McLaurin's defensive coverage, Watt is the same way. He is the most double-teamed player on the Steelers, and his elite skills to still apply drastic pressure to quarterbacks is just insane. It's uncanny. Here is visual proof:
video via NFL and CBS
I think Watt should arguably be considered for Defensive Player of the Year along with Aaron Donald and Myles Garrett. Watt is tied for 3rd in NFL with 9 sacks, just .5 back from the leaders. The best stat? He leads the league with 16 tackles for loss. He only has 26 solo tackles. He is shutting down offenses, taking over games & being a pivotal piece to Pittsburgh being 10-0.
